Invoke Joy! Imbolc message…

Imbolc* is upon us….that silent winter moment when you catch a glimpse of the heat and light returning.  That time when we relight the hearth fires, spring clean our houses and do what humans have been doing for centuries…moving forward with courage and fortitude.  If you have resisted this forced slowing down….see if you can ease into it for the next few months.  If you have been still and gone deep, tune into the quickening of what is happening under the surface of the earth.  Life affirming growth and the innate healing force in all beings.  We all wish to feel good – whether we are employing means that make that so or simply harming ourselves in a misguided attempt.  What is the source of your true joy?  

For me it is embodiment, expression, community and RITUAL.
